Whippet Puppy Picture Contest: Jack Before His Accident
by Mrs Greenwood
We knew which puppy we were taking home the minute we set eyes on him, he was the most lively and in to everything including my handbag, shoe laces, coat toggles and he had the most adorable face.
We knew he was ours from the start.
Never out of trouble but one day that trouble cost him his eye.
At 7 month old he chased his first rabbit but went full speed into a hawthorn bush piercing his eye.
Our vet tried everything to save it but to no avail and it had to be removed.
Still we look at him now and he is still the most adorable whippet ever.
