Are Whippets Skittish?

Are whippet dogs known for being skittish?

ANSWER:

No, I wouldn't say that whippets are skittish.

Some whippets may be shyer or more excitable than others but generally they are not nervous dogs.

Of course, being exposed as puppies to many different situations, people and noises helps any dog to develop a balanced personality.

A well bred whippet that has received a proper socialization as a puppy and an adequate training as an adult will turn into a well adjusted and confident dog.
