Whippet Mix: Lia


We adopted Lia when she was 8 months, old from a local shelter. We were told she is a Whippet Mix. She definitely has the sighthound trait. She loves to chase light, butterflies, birds, her stepsister (a MinPin) or anything that moves quickly.

She doesn't bark often but when she does you know that there is good reason for it and you better go look to see why.

We'd love to know what other breed she may be. When she gets nervous or excited her hackles raise up all the way down her back and on her tail. Her fur is similar to a Lab's.

She looks very similar to my stray, Bella who is whippet/pointer mix (we think!).
