My whippet puppy Skye is now 11 weeks old. She had her second inoculation at the vets last Monday. She was such a good little girl. Didn't even wince when she had her injection. She just wanted to smother the vet in wet kisses.
While I was at the vets it came to light that another whippet puppy from the Assisi animal sanctuary where I got Skye was coming in for its second injection. It turned out to be Skye's sister but I didn't get a chance to meet her or her owner.
When I got home I rang the sanctuary and they passed my number to the lady with Skye's sister. To cut a long story short she will be visiting me in the next two weeks. I'm looking forward to meeting them both and to see how Skye and her sister react to each other.
The camera is at the ready and I will be taking some photos of them together and will post one on the net for everyone to see.
Yesterday I started taking her out for walks and she has been really good on the lead. She's so curious and just wants to stop and sniff everything. Its great now to be able to take her out.
