I put my 10-week-old whippet puppy inside his 40"-high pen inside the house and locked the gate on it before I went out. When I came back he was out of the pen. The gate was still locked, the pen was upright and undisturbed. It's a wire pen and I've seen him put his feet on it off the ground before. Either he's Houdini or he's a good climber.
