Your dog is a lurcher

I too have a Whippet/Australian shepard mix dog. I found out that a mix between a working dog (border collies, bearded collie, australian shepard etc) and a sighthound (greyhound ,whippet, afghan hound etc..) is a called a "lurcher." If you have not already found this information on the web, google it as it is very interesting! Lurcher means "thief" in Irish Romany (gypsy.) My dog is certainly a thief!!
