Sally O'Mally followed me home from school one day. I wasn't quite sure what kind of dog she was, but once I started researching, I discovered she looked much like a Whippet. I'm not so sure she is pure Whippet, but she definitely acts like one! She is kind, loving, and mischievous. She can't go anywhere without her leash! She LOVES to chase squirrels, rabbits, and anything else she sees moving!! In just a few minutes, I was able to teach her to sit, shake, high-five, and speak. She is very intelligent, and loves to watch movies about dogs. She even seems to show emotions that correspond with the movies! Sally is the most loving and mysterious dog I have ever seen. I couldn't imagine life without her!!

You're right on about the Whippet character. I agree your dog is part Whippet. They are a very intelligent loving dog. Our Whippet Sally was recently hit by a pick up truck and had to be put to sleep. I still mourn. We have another, Abner, who is calmer. We've had Whippets for over 30 years and I dearly love them.
