Dog looks and attitudes are so varied and whippets come in so many gorgeous colors that I wish I could have a dog of each breed and a whippet of each color I like, but the problem is that I like them all.

An easy way out of this dilemma is to paint pictures of whippets and dogs to keep at bay my mania.

Watercolor is my favorite media of expression because it’s a fun technique and, when it comes out right, it looks fresh and simple. 

I reckon watercolor is the zen of painting: elegant, fresh and only apparently simple.

Whoever tries this art style knows that it is a tricky technique, it can be difficult to correct and sometimes it shows a mind of its own but this is all part of its charm.

Watercolor is definitely a master at teaching you to go with the flow and seize opportunities.

All this volatility is what makes each painting more precious.

Someone said that a piece of art is just a series of fortunate accidents and I couldn’t agree more with this wise comment.

I’ll select the best photos and paint a watercolor portrait of your dog.

As soon as the portrait is ready, I’ll send you an e-mail with the picture in A4 format, ready to be downloaded and printed.

You’ll be able to print it at home or, for better results, with your favorite print-on-demand service.

Don't forget to add your e-mail and double check it. If it's  incorrect or missing, I won’t be able to send you the custom picture of your dog!
