Why do you need a whippet dog?

Whippets are such wonderful companions!
I've had my whippet for 16 years, yep you read right, 16 years.
She has taught me well over the years. I have had her since she was a baby and we have lived alone the whole time. I don't need anyone or anything in my worldly life but her.
I am disabled and she has had a natural ability since a pup to alert me to seizures before I have them. This has been a blessing for me, it gives me time to get to a safe place to have my seizure and she wakes me up with lots of wet kisses.
I love her with all my heart and dread the day when she is no longer here with me on earth.
