Whippet Dog Story: Daisy

I have a whippet named Daisy. She's a good dog but doesn't like to be left alone. She loves attention. Once when left her unattended she chewed up all the vinyl mini blinds waiting for my return. She also ate a pair of sunglasses once. She's very smart also. She learned how to open the truck window and once while parked , she jumped out to venture on her own. She is really a great friend otherwise.

Lucy, our 17 yr old whippet is like that, she hates thunderstorms and being alone.
Some people thought she was too skinny and old and needed to be put down, but lucy isn't ready to give up the ghost just yet.
I'm sure she'll die on her terms and no one else's. She has been a wonderful and funny companion.
Although she's blind and has doggy Alzheimer's, I still love her, and I guide her with a gentle hand when she seems a bit lost.
Even an old girl like lucy can still learn new tricks.
