Elda is 100% correct about all the ways that you can correct jumping, the spray bottle works great for most all problems..barking, jumping and playing too rough, marking if you can get to the bottle fast enough...I like to us a spray bottle to correct all sorts of problems...I have heard that a little lemon juice in the bottle works great too because they do not like the taste and smell of citrus.
Good luck and try to break your whippet of that problem ASAP, the older they get the harder it will be..but, too, as any one will tell you, when your whippet turns 2 you will have the perfect dog! ;)
