Dakota, a Loving Whippet Mix

Our little whippet was found in a ditch at about 2 weeks old.

We decided to adopt this shy, timid puppy and what a great idea that was!

We definitely know she has whippet in her but we think she is mixed with something else.

When you first meet Dakota, she is very skittish, but once she gets to know you she is the most playful puppy around!

She loves to play frisbee or catch. She also loves to chase you around the yard and what a fast runner she is!

When she gets inside she's ready for cuddle time. But she is ready to play whenever!

We also call her Koko and Kota.

Kota also loves to shake your hand and give you a high 5! (Especially if you give her a treat.)

Dakota is now a little over a year old and she is the most loving and friendly puppy and we are so happy to have her in our life!

She is an amazing addition to our family which includes a 5 year old beagle.

I came across this page by accident while looking up something on our dog. Your dog Dakota could be the twin of our Suni Rae. Dakota has all the same markings, etc. I was blown away. I have seen other dogs that look similar to ours but Dakota is identical! I am glad to hear that Dakota has brought your family as much joy as Suni Rae has given my daughter and me!
