Can you tell if my dog has some whippet in him?

We got our dog from a shelter, he was 3 months old. We were told he is german shorthaired pointer and others. We are trying to figure out the "other". We were watching Dogs 101 and the Whippet was being profiled. His personality matches a lot of the Whippets and he somewhat looks like one in the face. I am including a picture and if you have any ideas on the "other" we would appreciate it.
