Training Puppy Not to Bite

Training puppy not to bite and chew will preserve your fingers, furniture and sanity. Free puppy training tips to survive and possibly enjoy your dog’s first months.

Young Lola is biting everything: carpets, remote controls, shoes and of course, my fingers.

OK, is a puppy way to know the world but those little needle teeth can be so painful!

The best way to stop her is to let her know clear and loud it hurts: I yelp!

A video is worth a thousand words, watch this neat video about how to train a puppy not to alienate their favorite humans.

House training a puppy also includes training him not to chew the heirloom carpet or the furniture.

I totally distrust Lola, her ability to find something unsuitable to chew on is amazing so I keep an eye on her all the time and if I’m busy she stays in her pen or crate. Also having a lot of chewing toys at hand helps.

For more free puppy training tips on how to teach a puppy not to chew, have a look at this video.
