What’s in a puppy name? A special moment in our lives, a color, a sound, a song or a flavor that inspires our imagination, or a special characteristic of our whippet pup. As a family game we put together a collection of dog names, maybe some of them will appeal to you or will inspire a further dog name brainstorming. Our mother language is Italian and many of the dog names below have Italian roots. I find that an Italian twist goes well with the whippet personality.
