I Love Whippets!

I love whippets! I went coursing with a friend, she had gotten into Pharaoh Hounds, and I ended up coming home with a whippet. I really liked what I saw of them that day.

My first whippet was Willow. She was a very special girl. She was the runt of her litter but had the biggest heart. We did obedience together. She earned her CD and CDX. She excelled at lure coursing. She had her FCH in four days.
She had her LCM and more then half towards another. She and I then started up in agility and she got her NA straight away. She could have done so much more with the right person, but it was a joy for me to be able to take this journey
with her.

Then came Sun-E, my most handsome puppy-baby-boy! I love my boy to pieces. He found lure coursing too boring and thought it much more challenging bringing down the other dogs. But he did well with straight racing. He had a third place average. We did some obedience and agility too. He was doing great at these too.

We moved to an area that was just too hot for us to do this sort of thing, although I've been here more then 9 years now and I can do lot more out side then I could then. It's too
late for Sun-E, he'll have to settle for a CD and a NA.

I now have Mica, I got her from a breeder at the age of 4 1/2 years old. I've got her where I can get some tittles on her. We did 5 weeks of agility, there won't be anymore till Fall now.

I also am working on obedience with her. She is now 8 years
old. I'll let you know how she does. Thank you for putting up this web site.
